EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Knowledge and skill required:  Ideal candidate is highly motivated and can work well independently.  Responsibilities include management of all the executive staff, calendar management, travel arrangements, conducting research and compiling reports, etc.  Relieves the executive of administrative type functions in order to increase the time an executive has available for executive level responsibilities.  May handle a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office.  Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.  Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda and report.  Assisting in the day-to-day requirements along with organizing and managing upcoming needs and projects.  Must be a team player, able to multi-task, have professional etiquette in working with all levels of management and a diverse staff, great personality, dedication and enthusiasm.  Experience with Microsoft Office, excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Education and experience:  Bachelors degree in related field.  5+ years of experience providing administrative and/or executive support to senior management.

Manhattan’s Physician Group has an immediate opening for a Compliance Coding Analyst.  Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Coding Analyst participates in the surveys/audits from external regulators, including tracking deliverables, tasks, and corrective actions.  Coordinates the audit processes, including reviewing, analyzing, and reporting findings internally to the CCO to ensure compliance with Federal, State, payer and institutional requirements.  Through the review process, the Compliance Coding Analyst may also identify opportunities to improve coding practices and related business processes or issues needing further review, assessment and follow-up.  This position supports the Compliance team in its mission to assure that practitioners and staff are knowledgable about requirements for documenting, coding, and billing clinical services in a complex and ever-regulated environment.  The Analyst ensures timely execution of compliance program elements and maintenance of established compliance metrics.  Assists in the development of appropriate policies relating to compliance.

Essential functions include management of ongoing physician coding and documentation audit program and managing practice education initiatives.  Initiating focused reviews of compliance operations, analyzing results, and preparing audit reports.  Requirements include college degree or equivalent, plus 5 to 7 years of audit experience in a multi-speciality setting; knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to physicians and other health care providers; coding certification (CPC, RHIT, RHIA); significant experience working with current CPT-4 and ICD-9 rules and clinical documentation requirements.  Healthcare Compliance Association certification (CHC) preferred.

Education and experience required:  Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nursing and 3-5 years emergency department RB experience.

Education and experience required:  Formal training from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.  BSN, MSN preferred with a current state RN license and certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and state authority for advanced practice.  Minimum of a Nurse Practitioner Certificate and 2 years of experience in a group health care setting working with primary care and/or women’s health needs.
